Contracts Manager - Industrial

Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager (Industrial) within the Power Division to manage site employees and infrastructure in line with our client agreement, ensuring that the depot is meeting agreed targets both in relation to performance and budget.  Maintaining superior standards of customer service and health and safety will be essential, as well assisting with the contract renewal process and development of subcontractor client base.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Management of site Employees and infrastructure in line with the client agreement.
  2. Ensure the Depot is performing against all agreed targets / service scorecards and managing costs within management budgets.
  3. Ensuring all Customer enquiry and orders are processed and fulfilled by the Depot in a timely manner.
  4. Ensuring all Depot operations including employee activities and products are compliant with statutory, customer & Speedy safety standards.
  5. Acting as custodian of all assets associated with the Depot, recognising the need to maximise asset utilisation and customer availability.
  6. Recruitment, coaching and providing feedback to site based Employees ensuring all training and development needs are met in order to safely and efficiently deliver the contract.
  7. Assist with contract renewal process and development of subcontractor client base.
  8. Identify opportunities for contract expansion within site based client global network.
  9. Facilitate the use of specialist Speedy and Partnered Service providers on the site recognising the specific needs of the client.
  10. Clear documented Management of Tier suppliers working on the site ensuring safety and service are consistently delivered in line with site best practice. 
Ideal Candidate

  • Basis knowledge of all plant ,equipment & Services
  • Innovative approach to problem solving
  • Understanding of contractual law (preferred)
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Excellent administration skills for reporting & planning (Prince 2 would be an advantage)
