Regional Account Manager

Summary

We are currently keen to recruit a Regional Account Manager to achieve sales targets in line with the territory budget including supporting sector and major account teams to maximise revenue opportunities. You will ensure all customer leads are identified and generated, including those opportunities which lie outside your region, demonstrating the Speedy spirit in all you do. Excellent communication skills will be required in order to build relationships both with clients and internally, while strong organisation will be key to ensure customer records are updated daily as well as the timely production of sales performance reports.

Main Responsibilities
  • Growth and development of your managed accounts in line with budget for revenue and debt and maximising the revenue opportunities for your territory
  •  +60 day aged debt v current balance no greater than 5% on your managed accounts
  • Achieving and managing delivery of sales growth targets for all speedy products and services
  • Ensuring performance on sales discounts, bad debts and all other KPI’s are within agreed target levels
  • All viable sales opportunities are identified and converted into revenue
  • All customer sales leads are identified and generated for the wider Speedy hire group and not just the region in which you are based
  • Preparing and providing sales performance reports as and when requested to agree deadlines
  • Maintenance of all customer records on the CRM system are input on a daily basis to ensure records are fully up to date and factual.
  • Timely process of all other administration duties i.e. Concur, Midas, expenses and all other administration disciplines as and when required
  • Support the sector and major account teams to maximise the revenue opportunities within your territory and for your portfolio of managed accounts
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stake holders and colleagues
  • Ensuring the correct safety equipment  is always worn / displayed when required
  • Ability to prepare and present power point presentations to customers and at meetings on request
  • Open 2 new accounts per month
  • Manage and make best use of market intelligence reports for your territory i.e. ABI, Glenigan
