Dear Customer,
The safety and well-being of our customers, people and suppliers is our number one priority. We are continually monitoring the coronavirus outbreak in the UK and Ireland and are taking the appropriate action, in line with government guidance, to keep you and our teams safe.
Our network of 200 depots remain open, and we’re here to support you and your business.
Supporting our customers
We know that your business relies on our ability to provide you with the products and services which are critical to the projects you deliver, so we’re working hard to keep our UK and Ireland network running, safely and responsibly.
We have invested heavily in our product range over the last two years in preparing to roll-out our four-hour delivery promise, which means we are well prepared to provide our customers with the equipment they need.
Speedy are a digitally enabled business and our range of services are available to you 24/7 through our app and website, giving you peace of mind that you can order, off-hire and manage your account whether you are on-site or at home.
Access our product range including powered access, power supply, heating, lighting, fencing, jet washers and our fPod fuel tanks, through the Speedy app, website, your My Speedy account or over the phone.
Our teams will deliver your products to your site, so you don’t need to travel to our depots.
Taking the right precautionary measures
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus began in the UK and Ireland, we have been regularly communicating with all of our employees to ensure that the recommended government advice regarding precautionary measures are in place.
We are not currently aware of any reportable cases of Covid 19 across any of the Speedy businesses. Should this change we will take immediate and appropriate action to minimise any onward risk. Our depot network remains open and operational, and while our central service teams will be moving to home-working this week in line with government guidance, we have the right infrastructure and processes in place to ensure we can continue to service your needs.
We have contingency plans in place and should any of our depots become affected, they would close temporarily with orders re-routed to the closest alternative location within our nationwide network.
As any responsible business, we will continue to monitor the situation daily and closely follow government guidance.
Please be reassured that we put our customers at the heart of everything we do and we will keep you updated. If you have any concerns in the meantime, please contact your account manager or local depot.
Kind regards
Russell Down
