I joined Speedy back in May 2021 and was attracted to the role as at the time I was working shift work and weekends. The role was set hours Monday to Friday which really appealed to me.

Speedy is a great company to work for and I absolutely love my job. I work with great people and have a fantastic manager. My depot has a lovely vibe to it, and I genuinely look forward to coming to work each day. No two days are ever the same, I love driving and dealing with our customers on site. Often people are shocked when they see a woman step out of the vehicle, but recognise I am there to do a job and show me respect. The job is hard work at times, but I have fun at work and work alongside great people. The hours are also great for work-life balance.

I have been given plenty of training and I am supported to develop by my manager and Speedy. If there was a course I wanted to do to increase my skill set my manager would fully support me.
