An exciting opportunity has arisen within Speedy for a Dynamics Support Analyst to provide specialist technical support of Dynamics AX, CRM and other supporting applications

Main Responsibilities

To respond to AX, CRM and supporting applications support and development requests, ensuring system availability is maximised and all incidents are resolved as quickly as possible:

  • To act as the internal technical expert for the Speedy application portfolio and work as part of the team responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support, de-bugging and development of all systems
  • Facilitate and embed business change across Speedy where required
  • Requirement gathering from both technical and functional terms and identifying solutions
  • Preparation and delivery of appropriate documentation for functional and non-functional requirements and solution options
  • Testing of changes and management of changes into production
  • Generation and delivery of both regular and ad-hoc IT related reporting and MI as required
  • Act as a support point of contact for all users company wide and play a key role in driving changes to improve business processes through ongoing systems review and development
  • To identify areas of improvement within the system and its use (including trialling new processes and set ups)
  • Deliver identifiable business benefits from the existing applications; building on the existing platform
  • Ensuring all changes are done following recognised industry best practices and IT processes
  • Provide ad-hoc training and support to the users of the system
  • Liaison with 3rd party support providers as required to manage incidents from initial notification through to completion
Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Experience of supporting Dynamics AX (must) / CRM ( / D365 in a production environment
  • Requirement gathering and business analysis from both technical and functional teams and identifying solutions
  • Must be organised and able to manage own time effectively
  • Experience of the full application lifecycle through requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation and support
  • Must be confident with excellent communication skills, including a good, clear telephone manner
  • Must have good verbal and numerical reasoning skills
  • Must be able to work in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Proven experience of working within a fast paced business environment and used to multi tasking
  • Flexible and positive approach to work
  • Self motivated and a good team player
  • Adaptable to change in an effective and timely manner

Desirable

·Microsoft Dynamics Certification (AX / CRM / D365)

  • Basic knowledge of finance and trade and logistics modules are preferred
  • Experience of managing code in an application support environment
  • Experience of delivering training
  • Knowledge or experience of rental / hire business
  • Experience of integrating Dynamics AX and/or CRM with other third party systems
  • Understanding of Project and Testing methodologies
