Based in our Prolift workshop, Ringwood, as an Apprentice Engineer, you will be a key part of the depot operations. You will be a key player in keeping the workshop productive meaning equipment is always available for our customers to ensure their experience with us is always positive and we continue to be the best hire company in the industry.

As an Apprentice Engineer with Prolift you will take part in our four year Powered Access Engineer Training Programme. Throughout this programme you will spend time being trained by our knowledgeable and experienced colleagues along with working with our specialist external provider.
Year 1/2: Level 2 Diploma and Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance blended and on the job learning.
Year 3: Level 3 Diploma and Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance blended and on the job learning.
Year 4: Based in the workshop full time perfecting and practicing your skills ready to be signed off as a fully qualified Engineer.

Please note that you must hold a Level 1 equivalent or GCSE Grade 2/Grade E or above in English and Maths in order to be considered for this apprenticeship.
If you are successful in obtaining this role, in order to complete the L3 qualification you will have to complete L2 Functional Skills in English and Maths. If you can provide evidence of GCSE Maths and English qualifications at Grade C/4 or above you will be exempt from needing to completethese qualifications If you do need to complete the Functional Skills qualifications, our external provider will work with you in order to achieve this.
