Summary

To provide a business focused compliance and administration service on all funded provision and to ensure we are compliant with all submissions. Working within a busy compliance department, as a Compliance Advisor you will contribute to the development, performance and maintenance of the compliance activities of the organisation with responsibility for the day to day compliance activities.
You will have an excellent work ethic, eye for detail, be able to prioritise you own tasks and activities. You will offer advice and guidance to colleagues in relation to learner journey documentation from enrolment to certification. In addition, you should have an understanding of the funding rules and the monitoring guidance set out by the ESFA. This role reports into the Compliance Team Leader.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• To liaise with delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of all NVQ related documentation throughout their course
• To maintain compliance within NVQ files and associated documentation
• Ensure evidence of ongoing activities is recorded in the learner file and on Smart Assessor
• Scheduled audit and sampling of all Smart Assessor activity and content
• Ensure all completion documentation is completed accurately and is processed timely to our partners
• Ensure all withdrawal documentation is completed accurately and is processed timely to our partners
• To actively drive timely progress reviews and escalate and raise non-compliance issues
• To ensure auditable evidence is maintained to support all funding claims
• To maintain knowledge and understanding of funding body and business compliance requirements
• To maintain accurate systems of control and tracking
• To participate in on-going training in order to enhance and improve compliance
• To undertake other duties that may arise from time to time, in line with the general purpose of the post
• To act as an ambassador for Geason Training at all times
• To perform any Ad-hoc duties that the Company considers to be reasonable.
• To be mindful of your personal safety and the safety of apprentices and colleagues
• Attend training courses to further your personal development and knowledge
• Accurate and timely submission of start paperwork and all starts for the month submitted prior to ESFA or Funding partner submission deadline
• Timely and accurate submission of all funding paperwork to Head Office or Funding Partner
• Sampling activity is carried out on learner files
