Do you have a knack for solving problems, are you a qualified Electrician with a recognised technical qualification have industrial maintenance experience and a strong mechanical mind-set and are comfortable working at height?

Because right now, we're looking for a new Crane Service Engineer to join our team in LOCATION and if you're happy to make safety your number one priority at all times, then you're just the person we'd like to meet.

You will be required to conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists with an understanding of LOLER and PUWER. You will be required to consult with your customers afterwards ensuring that next steps are recorded with prevention as your goal. You need to anticipate the problems before they occur. You will be involved in frontline maintenance by attending to breakdowns and fault finding, you will also be expected to carryout fault finding, retrofits, modernisations and upgrades to the customers cranes and hoists. We offer a full range of training from manufacturer to LEEA advanced courses experience working in the lifting equipment industry

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ3, HNC, HND or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification
  • Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists
  • Current UK driving licence

  • Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment
  • Excellent customer service manner, with strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with clients
