Main Responsibilities

Lloyds British are recruiting for multiple  Crane Engineering positions in the South West region, the crane engineer role is a technically demanding, challenging yet rewarding profession. The Lloyds British Crane Engineer, will be found making quantifiable differences across all engineering fields and disciplines. Working on Defence Platforms supporting our Ministry of Defence, the energy sectors supporting nuclear power stations and wind farms, manufacturing and production environments, Marine Industries, Mining Industries and Oil and Gas industry. The Crane Engineer using their skills experience and bespoke training tailored to industry demand, will find themselves working on everything from a highly technical process driven PLC governed crane on nuclear steam raising plant, to servicing Terex cranes mounted on the top of the Warrior tank, supporting the in service availability of critical assets.

Off the back of our training programmes we have the work to offer our engineers the critical platforms, exposing them to safely challenge their skill set and gain experience. Our engineers vans are top of the range and kitted out with everything from a wash facility to a work bench with vice.

Ideal Candidate

Key Core Competencies

-A recognised Electrical qualification covering electrical basics level 3 or above.

-A recognised Mechanical qualification to level 3 or above.

Additional Skills, Experience & Qualifications

-Exposure to PLC programming, Relay Logic & DCS.

-Electrical fault diagnostics.

-LEEA Qualifications.

-Appointed Person.

-Service Engineering.
