Geason are currently looking for a Customer Services Skills Trainer to cover the Nottingham  area. 

This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual with relevant vocational qualifications to be part of a team that delivers training in the Hire Desk Controller Industry with particular focus on Customer service skills, to achieve national standards as part of an Apprenticeship standard. This role is to deliver both face to face and virtual training.  This is an exciting position working with major employers within the Professional Services Industry.   You will have occupational experience within the industry. Recent and relevant experience of delivery and assessment of customer service related disciplines as part of apprenticeships. You are required to hold an appropriate assessor/teaching qualification. Experience or capability to deliver one or more Functional Skills would be highly desirable. You will be required to use your expertise to provide a high quality learning environment and work closely with the Product Manager to ensure this delivers the strategy of Geason.  You will work in a demanding and rewarding environment with young people and adults and this will require a flexible approach.

The ideal candidates will be required to train in both a virtual and face to face environment using up to date technology. Previous experience or qualifications in construction, warehousing or sales would be advantageous. This post carries a caseload of between 35 -45 students dependent on the standard.

What you’ll need:

  • Current experience of delivering and learning in an educational sector and within a workplace environment.                    
  • Evidence of leading sustained improvements in success rates and the quality of the student experience.   
  • Evidence of delivering high quality and effective learning experience across both face to face (classroom) and virtual sessions.                          
  • Evidence of providing learning to groups and individuals.            
  • Evidence that you are able to apply effective approaches to teaching and assessment to more than one level and target audience.                        
  • Recent relevant experience of working within specific skill area across the Construction sector. 
  • Producing and presenting information and reports using a variety of methods.      
  • Evidence of offering inclusivity to students.                      
  • Ability to plan, execute and evaluate activities.                

Skills/Knowledge

  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and application of curriculum development, innovation and delivery strategies.      
  • Knowledge of current relevant initiatives within learning and skills.             
  • A thorough knowledge of quality assurance processes and procedures.      
  • Identify, interpret and apply knowledge and information.
