Depot Operative / Workshop Operative

Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm in Barrow, Suffolk

This is an excellent opening for the right candidate to join Speedy Hire with the opportunity for further training and career development.

This role allows you to experience all areas of our operations first-hand, giving you a solid base for you to build your experience and progress into a specialist area of your choice.

Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly.  On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot. This can include: making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of our equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.

What you’ll need:

• Driving license
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others
