A leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, Lloyds British has been providing specialist testing, inspection, maintenance, certification and training services for the lifting services industry for over 200 years- we have built a market-leading brand and reputation based on excellence, expertise and customer peace of mind. In December 2016 Lloyds British was acquired by Speedy, bringing additional specialist lifting services and expertise to the Speedy business.

The Director of Lloyds British will have responsibility for the day to day running as well as line management experience and knowledge of Testing, Inspection and/or Certification. 

Overall purpose for the Director of Lloyds British will be to ensure the sales and profits of Lloyds British specialist engineering services provided across their region achieve or exceed budget by delivering first class operational leadership, customer service excellence and clear strategic direction.

This is a role for someone who has intricate knowledge of the UK lifting and compliance, statutory and regulatory inspection sector and it is likely that you have both operational and sales management experience within this market.

Job Scope:

To lead the Lloyds British team in the delivery of key related sales and operational performance measures resulting in increased sales and growth along with colleague attraction, retention, engagement and performance across the UK.
