Driver Category C + HIAB (Class 2) - Tamworth - Monday to Friday - 42hrs, OTE £36k

Based in Tamworth, the role of HGV Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a Class 2 vehicle with mounted crane, collecting and delivering hire equipment in and around the local area.

You will be responsible for:

  • The accurate delivery, offloading and collection of a range of Large Generators / Fence and Plant equipment and any other equipment with the use of a lorry mounted crane (HIAB).
  • Daily vehicle safety checks / pre use crane checks and reporting of any issues or defects
  • Complying with all legislation in line with driving hours and working time directive requirement.
  • Load security, ensuring all equipment is transported safely and correctly in line with safe working practices.

This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What you’ll need:

  • Class 2 (C) licence
  • Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Hold an up to date CPC
  • ALLMI Lorry Loader Accreditation D1+E Hook ( or equivalent )
  • Strong customer focus
  • Experience driving within the UK
  • A flexible approach to start / finish times as required by the needs of the business
