Summary

Working within a busy compliance department, as Grants/Bids Advisor you will take responsibility for ensuring our submissions, relationship and quality is maintained with our bids submitted to partners. To provide a business focused bid support service and manage our funding allocations appropriately.
You will have an excellent work ethic, eye for detail, be able to prioritise you own tasks and activities. You will offer advice and guidance to colleagues in relation to bid progress across our partnership contracts. You will liaise with partners to ensure the communication is strong and ensure a good working relationship. You will have a commercial awareness and understand the importance of making quality and accurate submissions.

• Understand customer and partnership requirements before writing bids
• Write, edit and proofread bids
• Submit bids to customers and other partners where required to maintain funding levels
• Remain up to date with bid/grant requirements to ensure a high conversion rate for the customer
• Remain up to date with partnership requirements and co-ordinate with the internal teams as required
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of grants and claims
• Liaising with internal teams to mobilise project requirements
• Resolve any issues with bids and contracts
• To ensure auditable evidence is maintained to support all funding claims
• Maximise customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• To maintain accurate systems of control and tracking
• To participate in on-going training to enhance and improve grant/bid submissions
• To undertake other duties that may arise from time to time, in line with the general purpose of the post
• To act as an ambassador for Geason Training always
• To be mindful of your personal safety and the safety of apprentices and colleagues
• Attend training courses to further your personal development and knowledge
