Junior Data Quality Analyst

Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom
Region: Lloyds British
Job Category: Engineering
Business Unit: Engineering Services
Job Type: Full Time (Permanent)
Hours: 08:30- 17:00

Are you an enthusiastic Data Analyst who can support delivery of a complex programme?

Are you a skilled problem solver?

Do you have excellent communication and influencing skills?

Would you like to join a team that supports change and development in a organisation?

Support the Data Quality Manager and the Transformation project teams with embedding a data quality framework, carrying out a data cleanse and supporting the operations teams with maintaining data quality and reporting. The successful candidate will help define what first-class data quality and management looks like in Lloyds British and will work to embed best practice within the organisation. After the DQM finishes the 12-18 month secondment, the JDA will ideally step up into the DQM position once the data cleanse has taken place and new system implemented. The work will no longer require two dedicated members of staff, and will be much more manageable for the new DQM

We are striving to improve the data quality within Lloyds British - We are looking to not only cleanse our existing system but implement a process which demonstrates data quality measurement and continuous improvement. We will work closely with the Lloyds network, IT, technical sales managers and the digital/transformation team to make these fundamental improvements which are key to the growth and success of Lloyds British.

We will then eventually look to purchase, implement and maintain a new system which will improve our operations, with data controls and governance being key to its success.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

This role and the DQM roles are brand new to Lloyds British, and if this is successful in Lloyds British, Data Quality individuals may be appointed Speedy wide.

Having someone who is open minded, has a problem-solving attitude, keen to get stuck into the detail and work as part of a small team will be ideal.

Positive, flexible attitude with someone who will be comfortable working alone as well as within a team.

Driving licence is preferred, to attend face to face meetings in Haydock

Key competencies/capabilities:

Attention to detail is key, the JDA will be working with large amounts of data and we need to ensure accuracy in every piece of data we work with during the project. As the JDA/DQM are both new roles, the individual will need to be open minded and flexible – they have the opportunity to (within reason) make the job their own, share their ideas and thoughts and have open discussions about the direction the project is going in. A problem-solving attitude will also be key as we will no doubt face many obstacles and challenges. Not only will being able to work with initiative be key, but they will also need to be a strong team player as we drive Lloyds British forward, and enjoy the successes in that team as we meet our goals

In return we offer a competitive salary with contributory pension scheme, 26 days annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), discretionary bonus scheme and life assurance. In addition you will be able to take advantage of our fantastic Salary Extras benefits scheme, offering cycle to work and various other discounts on a wide range of goods and services.

Please be aware Speedy reserves the right to close our vacancies earlier than the listed date if we have received a high level of applications. We would recommend that if you wish to be considered that you complete the application as promptly as possible.
