Main Responsibilities

The role will be predominantly based around London.

As an Inspector within Lloyds British you should be competent and capable to carry out inspection, adjustment and maintenance engineering of tooling and lifting equipment, motorised plant including excavators, telehandlers, diggers, forklifts as well as LOLER inspections of powered access units, such as scissor lifts and articulated boom lifts.

Our highly qualified and competent inspectors are capable of inspecting and certifying lifting equipment including, but not limited to; overhead travelling cranes, swing jibs, winches, gantry frames, davit arms, lifting jacks and pallet trucks.

Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Electrical and Mechanical experience as well as diesel engine experience
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment
  • Confident communicator with clear working understanding of H&S Requirements, LOLER and PUWER98 regulations
  • Self-motivational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in an operational environment
  • Driving licence
