We have an exciting fixed term (maternity cover) position for a Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns plan to grow the Training division and customer base – across the full range of marketing channels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Development and execution of a range of marketing activities that support the Marketing Plan for the portfolio of courses available from the training business for both B2B and B2C customer base
  • Implementation of targeted propositions and campaigns to attract, grow and retain the market share and share of wallet of our training customers
  • Working with the customer and market insights team to develop in-depth knowledge of the target customer groups and competitors
  • Support the development of the training brand and standardising of all assets across the business
  • Working with key stakeholders to develop and implement promotions that are fully tracked and measurable. Ensuring the customer journey is front of mind across all channels
  • Working with the wider marketing department to create a contact strategy to maximise cross-selling opportunities and uplift
  • Working with the Group Customer Experience Manager to understand the customer journey and experience to enable improvements to be implemented

Activities will include:

  • Tactical campaign planning and execution to key audiences (both B2b and B2C)
  • Provision of sales and ops marketing toolkits
  • Day to day management of the training proposition and campaigns, constantly reviewing performance and recommending improvements
  • Content creation and maintenance of the digital and social platforms
  • Support the business strategy from a marketing point of view 
  • Development and launch of digital and social channels e.g. Website, App, Training Management System
  • Partnership with the sales functions to ensure a joined-up approach to campaign activities, ensuring assets are up to date and will support customer growth and conversion
  • Continue building marketing database in HubSpot with inbound activities, and support the sales and ops team in using the CRM system

What you’ll need:

  • Customer-led approach
  • Experienced Marketer (min 5-7 years) with sound knowledge across marketing activities and integration of all channels to deliver campaigns (off-line, online etc)
  • Digital Marketing and Website Development experience 
  • Knowledge of different CRM systems (for example Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Collaborative and good stakeholder management to deliver campaigns (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Able to multi-task running a number of activities at any one time
  • Good presentation development and execution skills
  • Demonstrates diligence, stamina, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Bright, creative and enthusiastic champion for the brand.
