Summary

Based in the field, your role as Mobile Rail Engineer will be a key role to Speedy's Rail supply; ensuring equipment service schedules are up to date and responding to our Rail industry customers in their times of need, should equipment breakdown. 

Main Responsibilities

Once you’re settled into your role, you will spend most of the time in the field; liaising with customers, servicing and repairing as required. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers can rely on us to provide them with safe and reliable hire equipment so they can successfully deliver their projects.

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • PTS trackside safety card.
  • Strong mechanical skills and able to use tools effectively
  • Strong communication skills both verbally & written
  • Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers
  • Commitment  to learn and develop

Desirable:

  • Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
  • Previous experience working within the hire industry, rail industry or other industrial engineering field
