We are looking for a passionate Dynamics 365  AX, CE and supporting applications support and development requests, ensuring system availability is maximised and all incidents are resolved as quickly as possible

  • To act as the internal technical and subject matter expert for the Speedy Dynamics (D365, Ax12, CE) application portfolio with regards to Finance and Shared Services functions
  • Add value to the business through driving technology and process efficiency improvements in line with the Speedy Business Strategy as part of the Dynamics team – ensuring all key deliverables are achieved on time, to standard and budget
  • Review and challenge current operational processes and information requirements to ensure optimum use is being made of the company's existing system facilities
  • Facilitate and embed business change across Finance and other Shared Service functions where required – including providing suitable documentation and supporting materials
  • Manage the gathering and definition of requirements from both technical and functional teams in identifying solutions
  • Support the BAU and continuous business and systems improvements initiatives across all Speedy Finance and Shared Services areas
  • Management and control of any system setup and configuration
  • Management of Testing of any system changes both Functional and User testing
  • Implementation and Management of changes into production
  • Monitor and improve performance of Dynamics Support team in relation to quality, productivity, and control targets / measurements – Incident, Problem and Change Management
  • Provide training and support to Dynamics Team and end users of the system
  • Liaison with 3rd party support providers as required to manage incidents and develop suitable solutions from initial requirements through to completion and embedding in the business
  • Creation, generation and delivery of both regular and ad-hoc IT related reporting and MI as required
  • Management duties where required (1-2-1, PDP’s, Performance)
  • Conducting additional ad hoc duties as may be required
  • Following all company procedures and policies in company handbook
  • Ensuring all relevant training has been attended
  • Supporting and communicating effectively with the team

What you’ll need:

  • Excellent knowledge of Dynamics AX/D365FO and other Microsoft technologies in a production environment (essential)
  • Hands on experience of ERP systems and integrations with satellite applications including full application life cycle development
  • Excellent Financial and Accounting knowledge
  • Track record in analysing business requirements, delivering technical business solutions and systems administration
  • Proven ability to learn and test new business application functionalities
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and relational databases
  • Ability to write clear business documentation, such as business process documents, technical specifications, and training documents
  • Experience as a business analyst/systems accountant having previously worked on a large scale project
  • Proven experience of communicating and working with technical and non-technical teams, senior management, and executive level personnel
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Flexible and positive approach to work
  • Self motivated and a good team player
  • Adaptable to change in an effective and timely manner

Desirable

  • Microsoft Dynamics Certification (AX / CE / D365FO)

  • Experience in building reports in AX/D365 Management Reporter
  • Knowledge or experience of rental / hire business
  • Experience of delivering training
  • Understanding of Project and Testing methodologies
  • Ability to interrogate date (SQL or similar skills) 
  • Experience of SharePoint to its full capability
  • Management and Team leading skillset
