We are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator, someone who thrives on challenge and working in a constantly changing and evolving environment. As a Technical Coordinator you will provide administrative support and query resolution for internal departments in order to arrange suitable training for Speedy employees. You will also assist and support the HSSEQ Department with technical and HSSEQ IMS data administration. In addition to liaising with the wider business to direct and highlight any technical or asset related queries.

The role will report direct to the HSSEQ Support Manager/Quality, Environment and Technical Compliance Director.

Key responsilities:

  • Ensures our colleagues receive an excellent customer experience.
  • Assists with incoming technical enquiries from Speedy colleagues in line with agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • To assist in the preparation of rent device inspection checklists with relevant Technical Managers/Category Managers.
  • To follow procedures to assist in the creation of approved inspection checklists in D365 and associated asset set up, ensuring all index logs are up to date.
  • Ensure D365 is updated accurately with inspection checklists and associated information as and when required.
  • To assist in the preparation and maintenance of operators instructions relating to hire fleet.
  • Raises purchase orders for approval and liaise with external providers and Finance teams as required.
  • To assist in the creation and publication of news stories/videos to the Hub.
  • To assist in the preparation and maintenance of various HSSEQ manuals and documentation and other business administration needs.
  • To assist in ensuring security and accuracy of all HSSEQ Documents, including formatting, processing and publishing onto The Hub.
  • Update the document register with all published info (for Quality purposes).
  • To assist with all of the functionality in M365, including Yammer (Viva Insight), MS Teams, Stream etc.
  • To assist with other administrative tasks for the team as and when they arise.
  • General administration for the function.
  • Co-ordination of meetings, taking and circulating minutes.
  • Administrative support for technical reporting with timely advancement of reports as required.
  • Management of data and development of key reports.
  • To ensure a high standard and level of accuracy for works produced in a timely manner. 
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

You will need:

  • Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks.
  • Has excellent administration & IT skills (Microsoft Packages – M365).
  • Has a minimum of 12 months experience in an office environment, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of online management systems including system configurations and front end user interface.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Technical knowledge of equipment/tools.
  • Able to use own initiative, organising and prioritising workload.
  • Adhere to all Company procedures and policies, including Health, Safety, Environment & Quality.
  • High level of integrity, trust, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with all Management & Team Leaders and other departments
