Telemetry Manager - Erith & surrounding areas - Monday to Friday – 45 hrs

Speedy's Category Management team are looking for a Telemetry Manager to join an already successful team- this is a newly created role and will be responsible for improved utilisation, improved GP%, revenue growth in core hire and associated services through the Implementation of Telemetry products. To lead the synergy between all the Speedy Categories who adopt and use telemetry.

  • Gross profit margin and asset turn of telemetry linked products
  • Developing group wide strategy
  • Lead a team
  • Customer facing activities
  • Roll out of Telemetry products into the Speedy Group hire fleet
  • Availability and utilisation of Telemetry products in the depot network
  • Promotions/Marketing/Pricing
  • Investment/Divestment
  • Trend Analysis on Depot/Product/Customer
  • Collaboration with other Categories/Opportunities
  • Compliance
  • Key Relationships with Operations Board, Dept Network, Asset Team, Workshop Network, Power, Plant, Powered Access & Fuel Teams

What you’ll need:

  • Good understanding of telemetry products and how they are used in the marketplace
  • Good data management skills using telemetry reporting
  • Able to communicate strategy effectively
  • Judgment: viewed as critical by the Operations & Sales Teams
  • Character: Commitment level, team role, verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, resilient.
  • Personality traits: Positivity, creativity, confidence, optimism, confidence, technical and legislative astute, knowledge and enthusiasm
  • Commercial Acumen: Trend Analysis, market knowledge, benchmarking, performance management
