Territory Sales Representative

Summary
To effectively target and establish new and existing customer opportunities, ensuring sustained growth and achievement of weekly sales targets by selling all Speedy products and services in a specific assigned territory
Main Responsibilities
- Achieving and managing delivery of sales growth targets including hire and sales of other products and services
- Being accountable and responsible for generating high level of profitable sales growth in the relevant territory
- Generate and convert sales leads, achieving sales growth targets including ABI and territory leads
- Build and maintain relationships with Key stake holders and colleagues
- Manage and make best use of market intelligence reports for assigned territory
- Regularly liaise with Area Sales Manager, Depot Managers and Regional Service Managers within assigned territory updating them on performance, success, achievements and challenges
- Ensure that all sales opportunities are identified and converted into revenue
- Work with the Regional, Sector and Major account sales teams to maximise the revenue opportunities within assigned territory
- Ensure that customer sales leads are identified and generated for the wider Speedy Hire Group and not just the Company or Region in which they are based
- Prepare and provide reports of sales performance when requested
- Identifying underutilised assets to sell what’s available now (SWAN)
- Maintenance of all customer records and all other admin disciplines as required and within the timelines set by the Area Sales Manager
- Contact potential new customers for the Group’s products and services with the intention of establishing additional revenue and business relationships
Conducting additional ad-hoc duties as required
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience in selling products & services to end-users
- Organised and thorough with good attention to detail
- Confidence to work on own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Access
- Knowledge of Speedy equipment/ products / services
- Local area knowledge of assigned territory
- Driving License
- Smart appearance
