As a trainee survey engineer at Speedy you will take part in our internal training programme.  During the four year programme you will spend time being trained by our knowledgeable and experienced colleagues along with working with specialist manufacturers who supply survey equipment to us.

Please note that this is an entry level role perfect for those looking to start a career in Engineering.  No previous engineering experience or engineering qualifications are required as all training will be provided.

GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths would be desirable.

Programme Overview:

Year 1: This year will consist of you learning about the equipment we carry and hire out in particular focusing on what each piece of equipment is used for and ensuring that it is calibrated correctly ready for customer hire.

Years 2-4: Will see you work on selected products each year learning how to:

• Test survey equipment
• Repair survey equipment
• Take part in specialist manufacturer training some of which will take place at manufacturer premises abroad

The training offered will not only develop your technical skills and abilities but also offer you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to become a well-rounded individual in order to progress your career in line with your own aspirations.
