Training Team Lead - Monday to Friday- 37.5 hours.

Speedy's HSSEQ team is growing, and we are looking to recruit an Training Team Lead with CITB experience.

This is a brand-new role to the team, and we are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of CITB Grant Schemes processes including terms and conditions of different funding schemes. This role is ultimately responsible for supporting the Technical Training Manager in the delivery of the training objectives of the Speedy Group.

This role is working in a busy department to ensure the mandatory compliance training requirements are delivered effectively. Combined with the requirement to maximize the current fund and future funding opportunities applicable to the remit of the levy, and will also be responsible for co-ordination of the administration, reporting, compliance of the company's funding design and implementation of processes and systems

Speedy is registered with the CITB and must complete and send an annual Levy Return regardless of the amount claimed by Speedy, this role is to ensure that we are fully and accurately utilising the grants and levy available and also ensuring that a full and comprehensive return is completed.

A hybrid working model is available as at Speedy we’re empowering our people to balance their time between home, travel and our Haydock office in a way that works best for them.

  • Approachable and able to build effective sustainable relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll need:

  • Thorough understanding of training course coordination
  • In-depth knowledge of CITB Grant Schemes processes including terms and conditions of different funding schemes.
  • Basic understanding of industry specific health, safety, and environmental regulations and their application to training activities.
  • Commercial awareness and sound understanding of business procedural documentation and process mapping.
  • Experience in managing multiple mini projects
