Main Responsibilities

As a test and run technician at Speedy you will ensure that we are providing our customers with safe and reliable equipment. You will be responsible for the inspection; testing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of hire equipment from small tools, industrial cleaning equipment, lighting towers, power generators, pumps, plant and much more.

Ideal Candidate

Test and Run Technicians at Speedy are responsible for:

  • Recording any damages on returned hire equipment and assist in identifying  responsibility i.e. wear and tear or preventable damage
  • PAT Testing equipment to ensure it is safe for use
  • Occasional onsite repairs  
  • Ensuring that we have sufficient volumes of core hire equipment available at all times

Test and Run Technicians as Speedy have good mechanical/electrical knowledge,  an ability to adapt to new situations and think on your feet, a great work ethic, a desire to learn and expand product knowledge!
