The Speedy App – A click and collect Hire Click and collect on the Speedy app. You can start from the Welcome page. To get the best from the Speedy app it’s strongly recommended that you sign up if you are a new customer or login if you are an existing customer. If you have it set up you can use fingerprint ID or Face ID for a quicker login or simply type in your username and password. You are now on the home screen but logged in and able to access all of the app functionality. Let’s start the hiring process by selecting a product and adding it to a shortlist. Tap the hire category at the top of the page. Here you can browse and view all the product sub categories in this section - there are thousands of products available to hire in these sub categories. Next, tap the Tools category. Within this popular category, there are many sub categories to browse and select. Once you have found the sub category you require, you can click through to view the products within that sub category. Once you have found the product you need you can either use the quick add to basket button you can see at the bottom of each product, or you can tap on the product image to view full product details. Helpful to ensure you order the right tool for the job. You can see that this product has a click and collect icon and you can browse your agreed price for that product, the product code, product description and product specification. You can add to shortlist - allowing for a much easier and quicker checkout process in the future. You can also add to basket to begin to build your hire package with Speedy. You will now see a range of products that we recommend you hire with your selected product and as in this example a selection of optional extras. Once you’re happy with your choice of recommended products or optional extras simply tap add to basket to progress. A product has been added to your basket - you can either continue browsing products go straight to your basket or in this demo we will visit the shortlist area by tapping on the shortlist icon. Currently in our in our shortlist we have a three products, you can add items from your shortlist to your basket by selecting each box individually and then tapping checkout. You will notice the number of products in your basket increasing to two, you can even change the quantities required at this stage or delete unwanted products too. You can change the off hire and on hire dates at the top of the screen next to the calendar icons. Once done tap checkout to progress. At the top of the screen you can add a purchase order number and/or a customer reference. You can either click and collect from a service centre near you, or arrange for us to deliver. If your placing your click and collect order during working hours this means that the equipment will be available for collection immediately and reserved until the end of the working day. if ordered after midday, it will be reserved until 12pm the following day. We’re placing this order in the morning from home so we’re selecting same day click and collect. The app is perfect for placing orders outside of our Service Centre opening hours, in the evening or at the weekend. Now tap current location. This now shows you the closest locations to you that have the selected product in stock ready for you. As we are ordering in the morning this product will be reserved until the end of the day. Choose your preferred location to collect the product before tapping continue. You will now see the review your order screen, your last chance to check the order details are correct. The final thing to do is to tap to accept our terms and conditions and click confirm order. You will see, on screen, a note to confirm the hire order has been successful along with a reminder that it is reserved until 5pm the same day. The Speedy app a smarter choice for Speedy hiring. The Speedy App – Off hiring Off hiring on the Speedy app. You can start from the welcome page. To get the best from the Speedy app it’s strongly recommended that you sign up if you are a new customer or log in if you are an existing customer. If you have it set up you can use fingerprint ID or Face ID for a quicker login or simply type in your username and password. You are now on the home screen but logged in and able to access all of the app functionality. You can access the off hire section quickly here - or in the side bar menu. Once in the off hire section of the app you will be able to see all the products you currently have on hire. If you are responsible for more than one account you will have the option to select which account you wish to view the live hire for. You can also filter the table by site postcode, this will allow you to see everything available to off hire from a specific ‘delivered to’ address. Or the free text search field gives you more ways to find the item you want to off hire. You can search using the asset number, product code, product description, your own PO number or the Speedy rental order number. If you only have part of the information the search will still filter the results. You can add as many items to your off hire cart as required. Your selections will not be lost as you browse through pages. The new scanning feature also allows you to scan the barcode of the item you wish to off hire making off hiring even speedier. Once you have selected the products you want to off hire simply tap the off hire selected button, which takes you to your off hire cart. Next you will need to tap the calendar icon and select your off hire date, you can also add collection instructions for the service centre or the driver. Here, you are shown the original delivery address, this is the address the service centre will be instructed to collect the items from. If you have moved our equipment to a different site you can inform us of the new location by selecting the change collection address button. Tap continue to proceed to the collection request summary page. Now is the time to carefully double check the details of the off hire are correct. If you’ve made an error you can click the back button in the top left hand corner to retrace your steps and amend, before tapping confirm off hire. You will see on screen a note to confirm the off hire has been successful and your off hire reference. In addition you will receive a time stamped email confirming the off hire and the hire charges will stop from the off hire date you provided. The service centre will be notified of your off hire request and will organise the collection as required. The Speedy app - a smarter choice for Speedy off hiring. The Speedy App – A Capital Commitment Hire Making a capital commitment hire on the Speedy app. You can start from the Welcome page. To get the best from the Speedy app it’s strongly recommended that you sign up if you are a new customer or login if you are an existing customer. If you have it set up you can use fingerprint ID or Face ID for a quicker login or simply type in your username and password, you are now on the home screen but logged in and able to access all of the app’s functionality. Tap the hire category at the top of the page where you can browse and view all the products sub categories. There are thousands of products available to hire in these sub categories. Tap the capital commitment category to browse the full range of products available to hire via Speedy’s industry leading capital commitment service proposition. Once you’ve found the product you need you can either use the quick add to basket button or you can tap on the product image to view the product details. Because you are logged into the app you can browse your bespoke pricing for that product as well as the product code, description and product specification. For an even speedier checkout for future hires you can add your favorite products to your shortlist or add it straight to your basket to build your hire package with speedy - you will now see a range of products that we recommend you hire with your selected product along, with a selection of optional extras. You can click on the plus icon to add one or more of these to your order. Once you’re happy with your choice of recommended products or optional extras simply tap ‘add to basket’ to progress. this will take you to the my basket screen where you can see all the products you wish to hire or buy have been added, you can even change the quantities required at this stage or delete unwanted products too. At the top of the screen, next to the calendar icon you can select your on and off hire dates. The price summary will update as you amend your expected hire period, If you are a pay as you go customer you will see a different view that will allow you to pay your deposit for the hire within the app, once done tap checkout to progress. To see a full breakdown of your total cost you can click on more details. At the top of the screen you can add a purchase a order number or a customer reference. The next task is to choose a collection or delivery method with information and options available ‘here’ you can either click and collect from a Service centre near you or arrange for us to deliver. Providing it’s before 3pm our industry leading capital commitment service proposition will ensure we deliver same day or within 4 hours nationwide. Enter a delivery contact along with their telephone number before finally adding in the actual address for delivery and any specific delivery instructions that apply to that address. If this is an address you want future orders to go to, you can select “my preferred address” to save time in future orders. Tap continue to proceed to the review your order screen your last chance to check the order details are correct. The final thing to do is to tap to accept our terms and conditions and click confirm order. You will see on screen a note to confirm the hire order has been successful.
