Speedy, the UK’s leading provider of equipment rental and support services, has been appointed as official supplier for this year’s Manchester International Festival (MIF).
Speedy will supply a comprehensive package of equipment including generators, crowd-control barriers and radios to the biennial event.
The products are being sourced from across Speedy’s network of depots and will be used to support the festival and its full range of performances.
MIF is based in and around Manchester city centre and is an artist-led festival of original work including performing arts, visual arts and popular culture.
This year, MIF – which is taking place from Thursday 30 June to Sunday 17 July – is presenting over 20 commissions created by leading artists from all around the world including shows from Snoop Dogg and Björk.
Martin Hayward, Managing Director Northern Division at Speedy said: “As a North West-based business it is important for us to be involved in supporting one of the region’s most high-profile events. Manchester International Festival is unique and our equipment will be used to help it showcase talent from all over the globe.”
