Speedy - the UK’s leading provider of equipment rental and support services – has upgraded its fleet of surveying instruments with an investment of over £1.8 million with Leica Geosystems.

The investment included a further 200 Leica ‘FlexLine TS06 5” Power’ Total Stations growing the fleet holding of this product alone to 450 units, the largest in the UK and Ireland.

With an already substantial hire fleet of Total Stations from Leica Geosystems being constantly in demand, the Leica FlexLine TS06 represents an excellent addition as a ‘work horse’ instrument for Speedy’s customers, suitable in performing a multitude of Surveying and Construction applications.

Also included in the investment was a significant quantity of Robotic One Person Total Stations and GNSS SmartRovers operated by the innovative Leica ‘Viva’ software.

Andy Connor, Supply Chain Director at Speedy said: “We have a commitment to provide our customers with the most innovative, quality equipment, when and where they need it, and the extension of our range of Leica Geosystems products ensures that Speedy customers always have access to the one of the largest and most sophisticated collections of surveying equipment on the market.”

Ian Pennington, National Key Account Manager at Leica Geosystems Ltd said: "This significant investment by Speedy underlines their commitment to have one of the newest, largest and most versatile hire fleets of survey equipment in the UK, ensuring both availability and reliability for their customers".
