Great News As Speedy Rail Hits Gold...Again!

Congratulations to our Speedy Rail team who have amazingly received the Network Rail Route to Gold Award for the second year running!

This is an outstanding achievement, recognising the high levels of service and performance delivered by our Rail teams across the UK. Jason Dundon our Technical Manager and Competency Assessor has been key to this latest success, working nationally to implement consistently high standards with all our teams.

Daryl Doherty, Business Development Director – Rail, is delighted with the achievement:

“The Network Rail Plant Performance Scheme is viewed as the best performance indicator within the rail sector. It measures the performance of our machines and operators in real time while working on the rail infrastructure. Once a shift completes we submit the details. Including how the machine and operator performed. This then has to be verified and signed off by our customer before the data goes to Network Rail. The criteria for hitting the bronze, silver and gold rewards are very challenging, so to retain gold for the second year running is industry leading and a true reflection on our Rail Operations team – congratulations, and thank you!”

James Helm, Network Rail Project Manager, Plant Reliability issued the award to Jason Dundon and Colin Wight, Rail Operations  Manager last week.
