Speedy - the UK’s leading provider of equipment rental and support services – will be showcasing a range of its latest products for working at height in addition to its training services at the annual Safety and Health Expo.
Attendees will be able to view demonstrations of Speedy’s most innovative products such as the Telescopic Tower, Telescopic Podium and Power Scissor all designed to allow safe working when off the ground.
In addition to presenting its equipment, the firm will be providing information on its various onsite and equipment training schemes which give businesses clear advice and literature to complete a project in accordance with the most recent health and safety legislation.
Held annually at the Birmingham NEC, the event is the largest of its kind to be held for members of the health and safety industry and was attended by over 16,000 visitors in 2010.
Speedy will be located at stand L72 throughout the event which takes place between the 17th and 19th May 2011.
Steve McIntyre, group marketing director at Speedy, said: “Working at height remains one of the most dangerous aspects of a contractor’s job but we work closely with our suppliers to develop innovative products that can assist, such as the ones we are presenting at the NEC, which will help to reduce the risk significantly.
“It can be difficult for businesses, particularly SMEs, to stay ahead of the latest health and safety legislation but our training schemes ensure they are able to act compliantly at all times.”
