This course is designed for personnel who will be lifting loads using a Cab Controlled Crane.

Aim

To teach the operators to safely sling loads and to use the Cab Controlled Crane.

  • Methods of Slinging:
    Choice of equipment to suit SWL
    Angles of lifts
    Configuration of slings
    Weight Assessment
    Centre of Gravity
    Load Packing
  • No load situation
    Safe awareness & Limit switches
    Daily Maintenance
    Pre-start procedure
    Use of all motions
    Close down procedure
    Emergency exit from crane
