Inventory Control Analyst

Summary

To develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.  Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimise overall location and item level accuracy; maintaining min/max stock levels, both at the NDC and across the network.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Asset Finance Manager your key accountabilities will be to:

POS

  • Reconcile Axapta stock quantity to warehouse stock quantity, investigate and resolve any differences.
  • Run master planner replenishment routines to generate and process PO’s to ensure that min/max levels are adhered to for range.
  • Agree ETA’s for deliveries into POS and chase with suppliers if not delivered on time per quantities ordered, feedback Supplier issues to Service Delivery Manager/Supply Chain.
  • Point of contact for POS on all stock quantity matters.
  • Oversee AX Requisition process for extended range from POS to depots.

Depot network

  • Run master planner replenishment routines to generate suggested transfers to ensure depot network are running at min / max levels.
  • Comms with depot network – expected deliveries, depot stock queries investigate and resolve, replenishment routines, POS, OOS and ETA’s
  • Help co-ordinate regular consumables quarterly stock counts and returns to ensure integrity of the AX stock quantities.

PI Count

  • Coordinate a cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment.
  • Coordinate the cycle count progress and results to identify necessary recounts and processes to be monitored and provide regular reports on the results.
  • Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify and supply possible solutions.
  • Coordinate the efforts of the cycle counts in an effort to identify and correct discrepancies on items at the location level as needed.

Reporting

  • Report on availability on core range in the depot network on a weekly basis by depot , plans in place to resolve out of stocks if system related
  • Depot availability report identify high stock cover lines and report to Procure team to action
  • POS – availability report on core and extended range , plan in place to resolve out of stocks if system related
  • POS availability report identify high stock cover lines and report to Service Delivery Manager to action
  • To undertake any other duties as requested.

Excellent communication skills.
