An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sector Account Manager within the Power Generation division. Your responsibilities will lie in the management of performance, identification and development of new business opportunities and increasing brand awareness and cross company opportunities in order to accelerate performance and profitability.
- Achieving individual sales growth targets, including cross selling
- Ensuring compliance of accurate dashboard analysis.
- Support Market Manager in identifying bad debt.
- Preparing and providing forecasts of future sales performance when requested
- Attend own customer and prospective customer appointments and where relevant join Market Manager in their appointments
- Developing knowledge of Speedy business and services
- Delivering regular toolbox talks and advanced product demonstration
- Planning and organising time efficiently (i.e. call planning)
- Promote the one Speedy philosophy by identifying cross selling opportunities and products across all Speedy divisions. Thereby achieving maximum sales growth
- Conducting competitor analysis and keeping ahead of local developments
- Completion of all administrative work, as required.

- Negotiating skills essential
- Product knowledge of power generation equipment including generators, pumps and / or compressors.
- Understanding of the tool and equipment hire industry
- Advanced power point presentation skills and delivery experience preferred
- Intermediate excel spreadsheet skills.
- Experience of undertaking or commissioning market research.
- Experienced in statistical techniques
- Knowledge or experience of business performance measurement & reporting.
