Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for personnel who are experienced operators of a Fork Truck who have already completed a novice course and require conversion to another type of truck.
Aim
To refresh and assess experienced operators on their ability to safely operate and maintain an additional Fork Truck.
Training Methods
Classroom based and practical exercises and group participation.
Knowledge
On completion of the course, the operators will know:
- Their statutory duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- The machine identification, terminology and daily maintenance
- The safety aspects relating to the safe operation of this type of machine
- The effect of load size, weight, gradients and ground conditions upon machine stability
