We are looking for an experienced Asset Analyst​ , ideally with a background in asset management, someone who thrives on challenge and working in a constantly changing and evolving environment.

To effectively provide support to the Category Teams and Depot network to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the asset register and maximise profitability of company assets- whilst engaging with the wider Speedy business to gain traction and identify new areas of opportunity

Reports directly to Asset Manager (Category Support) and interacts with the Asset Team, Category Team, Supply Chain, Finance, and wider business depot functions

What you’ll need:

Key Responsibilities  

  • Produce regular utilisation reports for analysis and make recommendations to improve utilisation figures where possible
  • Provide detailed reports to Category Teams for disposals
  • Represent at monthly Category meetings and make recommendations based on asset performance
  • Provide support to Supply Chain and Category Team for asset profiles on new products  
  • Work with Category Teams and depot network to ensure asset data is accurately maintained
  • Manage and monitor tracking systems, where applicable
  • Regular analysis of stock count data
  • Management and monitoring of depot transfers
  • Management and monitoring of staff hires and external repairs reporting and escalating any overdue activity
  • Co-ordination of intercompany transfers, where applicable
  • Generate and analyse trend reports for asset performance making any recommendations for improvement
  • Provide detailed reports and support to Asset Manager (Category Support) in preparing the Investment Committee packs
  • Answering the telephone in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensuring all document and records are available and easily retrievable within the shared folder Ensuring that all documents are received and accurate prior to submission for approval
  • Ensuring that all calls being logged are assigned an action owner within the recommended timescale
  • Contribute to ongoing development of internal processes and procedures • Provide support in rolling our new process’ and initiatives
  • Regular maintenance of the asset register
  • Liaise with the depot network to ensure the integrity and accuracy of asset information Participate in company projects
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
