Small Tools Fitter - Glasgow - Monday to Friday - 07.30-16.30

As a Small Tools Fitter at Speedy you will ensure that we are providing our customers with safe and reliable equipment. You will be responsible for the inspection; testing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of hire equipment from small tools, industrial cleaning equipment, lighting towers, power generators, pumps, plant equipment as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable, ready for the next customer to take away. 

Whilst the role brings responsibility, it’s a perfect opportunity for you to build a career in engineering with us, where you can learn from those around you and develop with our award-winning, in-house training courses.

What you’ll need:

  • Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
