As a Power Engineer in the Inverness Superstore you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered hire equipment .You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment and that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

Main Responsibilities

As a Power Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers can rely on us to provide them with safe and reliable hire equipment so they can successfully deliver their projects. You will ensure that our equipment is performing to its full capabilities, that all equipment is tested, repaired and serviced to a high standard. As we offer our customers the highest level of care the role will also involve attending breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance on our customer’s sites.

For this role we are ideally looking for engineers that have previous experience in working on equipment such as pumps, compressors, small generators, diesel generators, and lighting towers. Alternatively a good knowledge of diesel engines would be of interest.

The Power Engineer position plays a vital part in ensuring Speedy and our hire equipment are providing industry excellence, in return you will thrive in a welcoming atmosphere where team work plays a huge part. Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Experience of maintenance and repair of power equipment such as pumps, generators, and compressors
  • A good knowledge of diesel engines
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure

Desirable
