On December 28th, The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Energy revealed that diesel and petrol prices will rise by 6.1 to 7.1 per cent for all fuel grades. As part of these price rises, the cost per litre of Super 98 petrol will rise 6.1% from December to Dh1.91, Special 95 is up 6.5% with a cost of of Dh1.80, E Plus is up 6.7% to Dh1.73 and Diesel has risen 7.1% to Dh1.94

Fuel prices are established by a committee headed by the Ministry of Energy, using a set of “benchmark prices which are not currently disclosed to the public.
