Summary

As Powered Access Regional Manager within Speedy you will take full responsibility for the overall performance of the depots within your area.  In this newly created role you will proactively manage your team, drive the business forward and continue to deliver the first class customer service that makes Speedy the best in our sector. This role covers The South East Region for Powered Access.

Main Responsibilities

As a Regional Manager for Speedy Powered Access you will ensure that we deliver a high quality and consistent service to our customers in a cost efficient way through service excellence. You will work closely with all departments within Speedy to ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything we do and that we meet and exceed their expectations. Your performance will be measured against achieving outlined financial targets set by the Group and your influence will play a key part in the growth of your business area. You will be measured on developing sales revenue including cross selling opportunities for the wider business. You will assume full responsibility for the profit and losses within your business area, and must be able to forecast and report all financials to the Powered Access Managing Director.

 

As Regional Manager you will be responsible to ensure that all company procedures, systems and processes are being followed in line with company compliance standards including completion of statutory training. You will guarantee that our customers are receiving the highest level of customer service and that the products provided reflect the highest levels of excellence that’s make Speedy the best and the safest hire company to do business with.

 

As Regional Manager you will be responsible for increasing and maximising revenue. You will oversee stock takes, ensuring that our assets are being effectively managed and utilisation is at its optimum. You will build strong working relationships with new and existing customers to understand their existing and potential requirements. You will work alongside the wider business area to ensure that resources and assets are at optimal use to meet both the customer requirements and business demands.

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

Previous significant and proven Powered Access hire experience within a national business

Proven operational management experience of teams across multiple sites

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to prioritise work load and work under pressure and to strict deadlines

Excellent understanding and experience of managing Health and Safety practices at work

Ability to understand and work with P & L accounts and budgets

Capability to take ownership and responsibility

Demonstrate a clear understanding of Powered Access logistics, operations and sales

Evidence of attained sales and profitability growth

Driving licence

 

Desirable:

Local area knowledge of the Powered Access market and sectors

IPAF Operator & Demonstrator

IOSH qualified
